I have been producing HD wedding packages using DVD cases. This is the first complete BluRay product that is packaged with the BluRay case. Check this out

Very nice, I am wondering where did you get the blu-ray box.

couple months ago we attended a wedding show and want to promo the blu-day wedding. I want to buy a blu-ray box to put in our stall but we can't find any. We end up brought a Wall-E blu-ray and put our cover in.

Taky -
May be a minor point, but are you sure you can use the BR logo? I know I'd probably put something similar to designate the BR discs, but I think you are "supposed" to have a license to use the actual logo - it's been discussed somewhere here on DVi (not in this subforum). The different case helps "define" that it's a different product, adding to the image, but I've always planned on using standard boxes myself, might have to re-think that!

I know you can't use the DVD logo for free. My replicator must pay a license fee when I order DVDs from him. I would think it is similar with the blue ray logo.

Usage terms can be found at http://www.blu-raydisc.info/faq.php towards the bottom of the page for wedding/event shooters.

I don't think the issue is the case. It is the use on your cover of the "blue ray" logo.

The use of the Blu-ray or DVD Logo is not allowed on burned media. It seems ridiculous as you just want to inform your client that it is a DVD or Blu-ray, and show them a logo they are familiar with, but unfortunately it is prohibited by law.

You might be able to get away with just having the Blu-ray logo on the case, but I am not a lawyer, so I cannot be sure. I would definitely remove it from your cover and label artwork though. You don't even need it on the Blu-ray cover since it is redundant (the case has the same logo).

Thanks guy. Read the FAQ. I will remove the logo.

You can't use the official logo. So what. Make your own. There has to be a way to identify the media type for the little guy.

Got this thank you email from one of the daughers of the family :)

Dear Taky,

You really went over and beyond the call of duty. We all gathered at my parent's house last night to watch the video. You did an amazing job. We were very impressed how you edited your different cameras. You even edited the introduction of my parents to fit in the right place even though the boys forgot to do it. We enjoyed it all. Thank you for making it so special and fun. The interviews in the bloopers were pretty funny. You have a very cheerful and pleasant personality, perfect for the job.

The blue ray videos were so clear and the packaging was great. We were all very impressed and grateful to be able to take home our own copy. Thank you very, very much!!!!
