Hi Everyone,

I would love to get some professional feedback on my director's reel. It runs exactly 10 minutes to showcase a couple of dialogue/narrative scenes. I feel as though I have enough good material to warrant a professional reel and start landing some paying gigs. Any thoughts on strong/weak points or any suggestions that would make this reel better would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!!

The Moment is beautifully shot, especially when the film moves indoors. It was a good idea to have it featured in your reel like it was. The lead actor was great.

Sorry but the opening montage of shots wore me out.
If I'm looking to hire a director I don't want to look at a collective scope of works quickly edited. I want to see how you tell a story.

Peter-thanks for the compliment. I'll let my actor friend know.

David-thanks for the constructive feedback. I've got a similar comment that the montage is on the long side. Looks like it's going to get trimmed down and get to the scenes sooner.

Is 10 minutes too long?
