Anybody know how to display the hours of use on the Sony DSR-11 or -25 or -30 miniDV decks? I know it can be done...

I believe you can retrieve the information from the menu. It is covered in the manual. If you don't have the manual it is available for download.

Using your links, I did find the menu option for Hrs Meter in the DSR-11 manual.

Sadly, tho, nothing like it was listed in the DSR-30 manual. So I'll keep checking on that one.
