Anyone hear rumors of Canon releasing an SDHC/AVCHD version of the A1. Seems like they should to compete with the Panasonic HMC-150. A couple of these to go along with my 7D's would be perefect.

Ben Tripp Woelfel October 8th, 2009, 06:38 AM Although I've heard nothing to that effect, it seems reasonable. Canon do not rush to new technology trends as others do and SDHC media cameras are quickly becoming mainstream. It would be reasonable to expect an announcement on a Canon flash cam before next year's NAB. Others with a view behind the scenes at Canon might have more to add.
