I have run the auto back focus 5 times now, using a back focus chart, about 3 feet away. My lens is still out of focus when I pull out to a wide shot. I have a shoot tomorrow I would like to not postpone it! any ideas?

I've had perfect backfocus by aiming at a brick wall from 8 to 10 feet. You might be too close, and I'm not sure those targets are as good as a finely textured surface like a wall. In any case, I had better luck with the wall than the charts.
