Dear All,
My brand new Sony PMW-EX3 (bought in Germany) has a problem with the Camera/Media switch. Initial camera or media switch works fine. After switching to the middle position the camera powers down as it should. Now switching to either camera or media will not work, only after resetting the battery it will start again. This means you have to release the battery and reload it otherwise it will not start. The firmware has been upgraded to release 1.05 but this made no difference. Any suggestions?

Thanks Craig, The problem is I'm presently at a shoot in Kenya and South Africa. The camera needs to go backto Germany for the repair. Stillhope to find this is a common problem and someone knows the answer.
