OK, I can't figure out how to search the forums now. Did we loose the search capabilities?

I have recently joined the Engineering staff of a major post house in Central Ohio and wanted to let the shooters know about the DV Contest. I went to search the forums for the best link to send folks to and - no search buttons.

Little help please? Maybe I'm just not seeing it? I see it now that I am logged in but is that something outsiders can't do now?

"Search" is right up on top in the horizontal blue bar, alongside the Home, Controls, and FAQ links under the DV(i)Community logo.

Or you can always go straight to the search page, at dvinfo.net/conf/search.php (http://dvinfo.net/conf/search.php).

You can also always access the search function using the pull down menu at the bottom right of the page, Forum Jump. Just choose Search Forums from that list.

You cannot search this forum without being logged in. Sorry.

Ah, that's what I was getting at. You have to log in before you can casually search the forums.

Hey Boyd (OT again) - you doing the DV Challenge?

Actually I've just changed this. Now you don't have to log in in order to search here.

Thanks Chris. That will allow outsiders to view all the great info we have here without having to become a member. I know when I am asked to become a member of some obscure group just to read one article, I usually back off.

This is a good thing.

Thanks,

Sean
