My million-dollar question (alright one dollar) is...

Can the Sennheiser ME66/K6P Shotgun be used with the SKP100G2 wireless transmitter?

If so will I need to flip the switch to Phantom power on my XL2 (I do when it is hard-wired)

Any one else have this Sennheiser setup?

Welcome aboard Brian! Thread indeed moved to the audio forum.

If you have the K6P module, then you'd need an external phantom power supply or move up to the SKP500 transmitter which supplies phantom power. The SKP100 transmitter doesn't supply phantom. The camera phantom power isn't needed for the Senn receiver and won't power the mic through the wireless connection.
If you have the K6 module, then you could run on a AA battery.

Check that the levels of the ME66/K6 combination are compatible with the input levels the transmitter expects - I think I saw somewhere that the plug-in transmitter was designed for dynamic mikes.

I made a mistake... I have the K6 and not the K6P module.

Does this mean it is or is not compatible with the SKP 100 G2 transmitter?

If compatible , would I flip the battery on the K6 module to ON, and would I need to flip the XL2 on Phantom power?

Sorry still confused. My bad.

The K6 would run with its internal battery switched on. Steve is correct about the K6/ME66 output level being much hotter than a dynamic mic that is often connected to the plug-on transmitter, but you may be able to turn the transmitter input gain low enough to handle it. If not, you'd need to put an attenuator between the K6 and the transmitter.
The camera phantom would be switched off for connecting a wireless receiver.
