I recentley trashed my hard drive and reloaded everything.
Now when I plug my XL2 in via firewire windows does not recognize it and neither does xpress pro. Are my drivers not updated or is it windows.

Actually windows can see it but xpress pro can't

That sounds like a problem with xpress. Are you sure you are running the
latest patch/update of it? Which version of Windows are you running? You
may want to be using the latest service pack.

If all else fails, perhaps you may want to post this in an xpress forum where
people have more experience with that particular product.
