I'm entertaining the idea of getting a body adapter to go from the pl mount to a bayonet mount thus not having to rustle up 5 different adapters or swapping a couple out continuously... any experience there?

Would love to know what you find out. Are you trying to fit a Sony Bayonet Type 2 ?
