Hi guys,
I'm getting a general error 39 popping up when I try to play two videos I completed in FCP 4.5.
I am running OS 10.3.9 with 1gb of ram on at dual 2.0ghz G5. I believe I am running the latest version of Quicktime 6, although I will have to double check that.
I used log and capture from a DVX100a, NTSC, onto a 250gig SATA drive with only about 40gigs open. My system drive is an 80gig Sata with about 30gigs open. I also have a monitor connected from the camera.
The problem is occuring on two projects that has been fine for months. At several points throughout the sequence, but always at the same points, a general error occurs. This error occurs no matter if I switch out the clip for another, or even delete the clip entirely from the timeline and leave just a blank space! I even moved the entire sequence 60sec down the timeline, and at the same point in the project, the error will occur.
The only change to my system that I could think of would be an auto update I may have made to quicktime.
Any suggestions?? Thanks for your time.
Chris
