My name is Martin Munthe and I work as a director in my own independent production company based i Stockholm, Sweden. I also host Swedens only Final Cut Pro community at http://www.fcpbs.org (Swedish language only). I've noticed a few Swedes lurking around the DVICommunity.

My plan is to eventually move out to California (SF) so it's always nice to get aquainted with the Bay Area people in here!

You are in Stockholm and want to move to San Francisco. They are two of the most expensive cities in which to live in the world. At least, the cost of living won't be such a shock to you when you relocate. Of course, people who make videos are all rich and can afford to live anywhere.
