Both B&H and SonyStyle are now accepting orders for the HDR-HC1. The Sony website says that orders placed will ship "On or Before July 15th", while B&H gives no firm date.

If you have one of the Sony credit cards that awards you points for buying products from SonyStyle.com, then now is the time to buy it from the overpriced Sony site because both have it for $1999.

So, I've looked for more information about the release dates, on several marchand web sites. It seems we'll have :

- July 7th in Japan
- July 15th in the US
- July 22nd in Europe (France indeed)
