I did say I would put mine up but I am still experimenting and haven't decided on the final mix. I have decided that I like the skin settings and sharpness right up. I like black stretch and cinetone. I hate cineframe 25, it sucks.
My picture profiles are for;
Outside architecture
outside people
inside people electric light
inside people candle light
Glamour - reduced sharpness, colour effects
Interview - at the moment it is the 1 setting with film look but it can't cope with any movement so I will experiment with 1 of the colour pass effects.
It makes it very handy for weddings that for each part of the day, I can just press my settings on.

So far I only have four settings for my FX1. I rarely use AE so AE shift, AGC limit and AT iris is not important to me. Also I never use: Skintone DTL, Color phase or Cineframe.

PP1 - Standard look, which I use most of the time
Color level +2, Sharpness 12, WB shift +1, AWB sens HIGH, Cinematone OFF

PP2 - Neutral
Color level 0, Sharpness 12, WB shift 0, AWB sens HIGH, Cinematone OFF

PP3 - Cine
Color level +2, Sharpness 12, WB shift +1, AWB sens LOW, Cinematone ON

PP4 - Cine neutral
Color level 0, Sharpness 12, WB shift 0, AWB sens LOW, Cinematone ON

I dont want to call PP3 and PP4 "Film", because I don't think of film but just another form of exposure (stretch of highs) that makes some types of shots look better, and I don't involve cineframe either. Still, as of now I'm a bit undecided on how I will use cinematone in the future.

Although all of these "effects" can be achieved in post production, I try my best to get a decent exposure since so much data is lost in the compression and I want the best final results I can get. I'm still a rookie, but I'm learning every day.

For the P-menu I use: WB preset, Zebra level and Steadyshot.

For the assignable buttons I use: Index mark, Display and Steadyshot.

Any new PP settings being tried, the keying thread lowing the sharpness was very helpful anybody have any more tips and tricks concerning Picture Profiles, sure would like to try them out. Thanks

For flat cloudy outdoor light, black stretch off, cinematone off, color +2.

For bright sunny day, black stretch on, color 0, cinematone 1.

You have to deviate these and others on your own. Rules are not hard and fast. The key is to know what works for each lighting condition, and to be able to adjust quickly.
