Does anyone know if I can buy the type of fabric that is in the, say, rycote windjammer...you know the fluff, stuffed animal stuff. I'd like to make some of my own gear but stuffed animal fur is just not cutting it.

Go to Walmart, buy the very long "wolf" fur they sell there. I've made several, and tested them against Rycote and other brands. Mine sound better, but they're uglier.
