I'm using the Sony Digital Master miniDV/DVCAM tapes in my DSR-250. The tapes have the IC Memory Chip. And the "end search" function won't work. The tape has been recorded onto and the timecode is recognized when I play it back, but when I hit the end search button, it does nothing. I've tried to hit it in both camera and vtr modes and still nothing. Is this a setting in the menu that I have wrong. Currently, the settings are:
TC PRESET: 00:00:00:00
TC FORMAT: AUTO
TC RUN: REC RUN
TC MAKE: REGEN
RED MODE: DVCAM
