Ok l've only had it for about 18hrs and l've looked at the video and the manual but because neither them are based on the Flyer (video is on a SK, manual is on Mini) which l think is pretty poor, l can't seem to find any info on the on the 2 wing nut adjustment screws or the the 2 round silver screw adjustments.
Now l have looked at Charles King's post with the video of him using the Flyer and have found from that that it appears that the Wing nut bolts adjust how far/close the camera is to your body and the 2 silver round nuts adjust the left & right position of the camera in relation to your body. So can someone either tell me where l can get clear documentation on using these adjustments or explain to me how to use them.

A bit of poor show in Tiffen's part i must say... GREAT rigs, but a little slow updating the documentation (website included...)

You are correct in your observations about the adjustments of the vest-arm connection.
This is a KEY element to a Steadicam system, and it's the first thing you need to adjust right!
The aim is to adjust the angle of the arm (using those adjustments) to a point at which the sled will reamain where it's left if you let go when you are STANDING UP STRAIGHT. For example if the sled wants to fall away from you you need ot loosed the bottom Wing-Nut and tighten the top one to tilt the angle of the arm more towards yourself. - Same dea with thte side to side.
If I reall correctly the video explains the side to side fix by readjusting the vest on yoru body a little bit to trim it. - works but not a good idea.

All adjustments whoudl be made when the arm isn't under tension (so without the sled on it)

The good news is that bescuse it's a basic adjustment of most rigs, it works just like the socket block on the Steadicam Ultra.
Go to: http://www.steadicam-ops.com/soamanual.shtml and download Part 2 of the "Steadicam Ultra Manual". On page 20 you will find a good explanation of how to use the socket block adjustments.
The whole Ultra manual is a good read as most of the priciples also apply to teh flyer at leas tin part. And also be sure to read the "Dynamic Balance Primer" - that is also very pertinant to the operation of the Flyer.
