Hello,
I have searched the forum and found a few entries on some recommendations of wedding video animations/tiltes. I would like to purchase a basic set animations/titles and I was wondering what some users prefer. I have seen the Digital Hotcakes Rab Bytes as well as some others but can't make up my mind. I am looking for something that is not too cheesy or over the wall. Some simple stuff like rings and bells and even some simple animated backgrounds. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

If you really want them, RabByte and Juicebacks are the best ones.
Unfortunately, most of those types of animations are sorta old school, and generally look kinda cheesy compared to the work most people are doing now, sans canned animations.

I agree with Gabriel that most animations are started to look dated, about as dated as a star wipe. And they are distracting. For now, I avoid animated backgrounds because they make a wedding video look more like an infomercial and less cinematic. I sell my services as utilizing cinematic editing techniques for a more timeless program that will hold up over time. I tell prospective clients during consultations that if they want animations and titles flying all over the place, they should consider another videographer. I let the pictures tell their story, not the toys.

I have to agree with you. I'd rather create my own moving backgrounds.

I have to agree. You all make perfect sense. For now I think I will stay away from them. Thanks for the replies.
