My new XL2 came in this past Friday and I wanted to take this opportunity to sincerely thank everyone in the DV Info Net community for all of the posts and advice. I have lurked here for the past few months while I did my research, and the willingness of the users of this forum to help others was just fabulous.

Also, I wanted to thank Brian at Zotz Digital for the great help and service. You made the buying experience a really good one.

As for the camera... I love it! I took it out today and shot with it for the first time at my daughter's soccer game. I forced myself to go full manual and I learned a lot. It's going to take a while to get used to the heavy front end, but it was a blast to use.
