I have two Xl2s and 1 Xl1s which I am using to provide three camera coverage for weddings but I would like to take my coverage one step further by purchasing a stabiliser but I am not sure which road to go down. I want to use one of my XL2's to do the job with wideangle lens. I also use a VL3 light on the camera and a wireless mic reciever on the camera all the time, keeping the weight close to 10lbs.
I have looked at both steadicam and glidecam rigs and am considering either the V16 (glidecam) or Flyer (steadicam). I noticed that glidecam demoed the V35 at NAB 04 and 05. I contacted glidecam about a release date for the V35 and have been informed it will be out mid July. Should I wait for the V35??
Any suggestions would be most welcome.
