The other thread is locked. I found this link: to ten presets on a Canon Europe site. How do they match up with those posted on this site, and does Canon USA have their own listing? I guess it's a good idea to have a standardized set of presets to discuss in these forums.

Alex thanks that's a great link well worth perusing, especially the Preset Properties.

When these CP cameras first arrived some pros contributed their CPs but (for me anyway) it takes much experience to get it right every time in the camera, I'm still at it.

But the cams have been around for nearly 4years now so CPs are well entrenched and most owners have their favourites, or don't touch 'em. New owners can read their trials and they have a quicker intro to CPs. I guess that's why we don't read many new CP posts now.

Having said that I'd say we all peruse the CP forums .. just in case ;)
