I have been reading this forum for a while and have learned a great deal. I would really appreciate some advice from all of you pros on the forum as to my lighting setup.
I am shooting "adult entertainment" video which will be destined for dvd. This will be my first shoot. We are using 2 z1's and shooting in hdv with an eye on distributing hd-dvds next year. The shooting will be done indoors in small to medium sized rooms. I am leaning heavily on a keno flo setup of some kind and trying to fill the room with soft light. I would like to avoid any really hot lights on set for obvious reasons. What combo of flos would you recommend to combat shadows and bathe the actors in soft light. I am also planning on using the daylight bulbs for the shoot, is this the correct way to go? As for on camera lights, i am planning on litepanels led lights, i like that there is no heat for when i get very close up to the actors, and i like that they are dimmable and stay within the same temperature. Also, the flos will be rented in the miami area, so if somebody knows where i could find these in the area that would be great.
