On an old board I used to be a part of there was a thread where a bunch of people listed the messenger they were using as well as their username.
Having some of these people on my list proved to be incredibly valuable for certain conversations as well as needing help in a crunch. Not to mention the more personal connections made through it.
I am not sure if anything like this has ever been attempted here, although I believe it would be very beneficial...
