Hello there!
I got access to Avid Media Composer 3, and would like to convert some HDV clips to mp4 files, but to my surprise, no mater what export settings combination I use, I always get bad quality mp4 after render !
the footage was shot with XHA1s PAL, at 25fps progressive (using steven dempsey preset; disjencta) and captured as *.m2t file.
i need to get a descent quality to test with royalty free stock photography community | iStockphoto.com (http://www.istockphoto.com/videographer_6.0_requirements.php) requirement.
please any Ideas on how to achieve at least the minimum quality?
NB:
I tested to export footage using premiere cs4 and it was very bad.
I have no access to prospect plugins.
