Here are some links to PCMCIA Hard drives etc.

These are probably a window into the options that will come out from third party developersfor the P2 HVX-200. Thought theses are not it, 3rd party developers will market specific versions possibly. Interesting food for thought.

This one is really cool, it's PCMCIA card that is cabled to a HD in-closer:

The following might be options for those lacking P2 funds (note, we don't know if these will function yet):

I can't figure this one out from the picture!

There are instructions on linking here (http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/misc.php?s=&action=bbcode)

Here are the basics:

Simply surround the address with [url] tags as shown below..

[ url ] www.vbulletin.com/forum/ [ / url ]

Note that once again, you need not include the http:// if the address begins www.

Don't include the spaces I added in the 'url' tag.

To link the way I did above, simply use:

[ url = WEBSITEADDRESS] Text to be linked [ / url ]

Example:

[ url = www.dvinfo.net] Check out this site [ / url ]

The result would show up like this:
Check out this site (www.dvinfo.net)

Hope that helps.

Yes you can Michael, see http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/misc.php?action=bbcode for hotlink instructions.

Please stop copying and quoting everything! You're making my eyes wobble.

Chris can we delete the past posts #2 to this one since it's not related to the subject. Thanks for the hot link info!

This is an interesting device that allows file transfer between two usb devices without the need for a computer. Jan has mentioned that the HVX will have USB, so perhaps you could use this device in between the cam and an external USB HD:
