Can anyone guide me, which capturing/editing card is better for Post Production Editing Solutions e.g Pinnacle"LIQUID EDITION PRO", Matrox RTx100 Xtreme Pro etc.etc. I need professional facilities such as slow motion etc. etc., it should be competable with HD format also.

Further more I am planning to buy Sony FX1 or Z1 (PAL), but I am confused about the quick panning of these cameras (e.g. in sports events), because I heard that during quick movements of camera the pictures blurs and interlacing motion artifacts., is it so?. and the final thing is about Filmic Look- 24P frame mode, Do they really offering these builtin mode or we have to do it in NLE.

all of your questions have been answered before. Especially on
the motion blur and film look with these camera's.

To the best of my knowledge NO hardware board supports
HDV *yet*. I have no idea how good slow motion on these boards
is (or if they even support that feature).

Most people seem to use dedicated slow motion software like
Twixtor and get good results.

Why not simply use a firewire board with the camera first and
decide if you really need/want an expensive hardware board
like the ones you mentioned.

The Canopus NX and SP products include hardware-assisted support for HDV editing, and are currently the only shipping HDV editing solutions with real-time HDTV component output as a built-in feature. Another good option is Adobe Premiere Pro with the Cineform Aspect HD plugin, which you can buy as a bundle at a good price on the Cineform web site.

Regarding the FX1 and motion artifacting for sport video, I've heard mixed reports on that. If that's a major issue for you it would be good to wait a few weeks to see what other low-cost HD cameras are announced at this year's NAB convention.
