View Full Version : HELP!!! Import four channel audio via firewire into Premiere Pro Mike Grimmett March 23rd, 2005, 10:52 AM Is it possible to import 4 channel audio into Premiere Pro? Or am I screwed? Mathieu Ghekiere March 23rd, 2005, 11:41 AM I think it's possible ofcourse. Already tried just to do it? You maybe have to set the sound on 32 khz, instead of 48... (or isn't it khz? something like it) Good luck Mike Grimmett March 23rd, 2005, 11:47 AM I've tried 32 and it still doesn't capture audio 3 and 4 from my xl1s. We used audio 3 and 4 for a hand held mic and it's just not coming through. Mathieu Ghekiere March 23rd, 2005, 03:48 PM Maybe try to post it in the Premiere board here? Maybe you'll find more luck there. Have you performed a search too? Chances are big you are going to find answers then. Hart Boyd March 23rd, 2005, 06:16 PM It is not possible for 4 channel audio capture into Premiere natively but you can use something like Scenalyser Live to capture the video and 2 channel audio with the other two tracks as a wav file all in one pass and them import both files (avi and wav) into Premiere. Download a demo of Scenalyser Live at http://scenalyzer.com/ A thread that may be of interest: http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?s=&threadid=41473 |
