Murderball will be playing as part of a festival, NEW DIRECTORS/NEW FILMS, on March 26th and 27th. The movie is about quadriplegics who play rugby in mad-max wheelchairs, an Olympic level sport. Henry Alex Rubin with his friend Dana Shapiro won the Audience Award for Best Documentary at Sundance. It also received the first award for Editing given at Sundance. If you are in the New York area, here is the opportunity to see a really good film made by some very talented filmmakers and learn something to boot. And it was shot on the DVX. ;-)

idvfilms doesn't seem to list it (anymore, perhaps it used to be and was picked up?)

I'd love to see at least a trailer, if anyone knows where one can be found, please share, I've googled till I'm blue! ;-)

It just played last night at the SF Int Film Festival. It was on my list to see, but I ended up going to something else (so many movies, so little time..)

Everyone that has seen it seems to like it. The dvx seems ideal for documentaries.
