I'm about to make the switch from CRT to LCD monitor. It is my understanding that "response time" is a key factor when considering an LCD.
Anyone have suggestions or warnings regarding specific LCD monitors..
Thanks - David

Personally I like TFT screens for my computers. I'm quite fond of
the TFT screens that come with DELL laptops. But of course, the
best screens are the ones from Apple (which you can hook up
to a PC as long as it has a DVI connector).

The digital tigers website has information comparing a lot of LCDs. It has information like bezel size, resolution, and response time.

I have been extremely happy with my BenQ (http://www.benq.us/Products/LCD/) monitor. They have a ton of different models, excellent refresh rates (16ms) and good contrast too (450-500+:1). You just have to find what size you want and then which model you like. They are styled beautifully and very reasonable in price as well (cheaper than most others that aren't even as nice).
