Ok, so i'm leaving fro aruba in less than 12 hours, and im nto gonna take my beloved GL-2, but i am gonna bring my optura 300 along for the ride...

now i will be on a lot of beaches, and warm weather....

what precautions can i take with my camera and preventing sand getting in it and such...

I'm not sure if you are going to read this, but the most fragile and
important part is the tape mechanism. Make sure you replace the
tape in a place where no sand is blowing around etc. So do this
inside in your hotel/appartement or inside a car or bag etc.
