But you know....regardless of what he says, there are those that have never touched the Z1 who apparently know more about it than he does. :-) Sony liked that interview so much they've put it on their website too. Heath McKnight March 1st, 2005, 10:42 AM Totally off subject, but I know a Jody Elderd, but she isn't related. Back on topic, that was a very interesting link, thanks! heath Douglas Spotted Eagle March 1st, 2005, 10:49 AM Heath, Jodi is a cameraman with credits longer than both my arms put together. His "Miracle of the Passion" was a Director's Guild Emmy pick, and he's a super nice guy to boot. He raves about the Z1, and bought a couple for himself, and has already used them for broadcast media. He is the owner of a couple F900's, and other high end cams. He was also an embedded cameraman in Iraq for ABC. Greg Boston March 1st, 2005, 11:32 AM Hi DSE, Do you happen to know who's focus puller and mattebox Jody had attached to the camera? A great endorsement for the Sony camera indeed! -gb- Douglas Spotted Eagle March 1st, 2005, 11:38 AM Yes, it was the new Chrosziel, both box and puller. You can find them on the BandPro site. Heath McKnight March 1st, 2005, 02:20 PM Sounds like Jody's got the skills and the gear to prove he's a great DP! heath |
