Just a light note here to break up all the serious discussion. Just finished watching (out of curiosity because I used to watch the original series) the season premiere of Melrose Place and the EX3 is prominently featured (one of the main characters is a videographer). They talk about some of the features of the camera in the dialogue. Just thought it interesting that a TV show would play up the camera that much.

It is from the season pilot - had it recorded and watched a week later. It was toward the later half of the episode where they showed the EX3 and talked about it.

I downloaded the ep. and just watched it. This new, trashy Melrose Place brings back fond memories of the old, trashy, Melrose Place. ;-)

The scene that starred the EX3 was great, but what really got me thinking was the scene where the videographer proposed by showing that montage to his girlfriend. Very sappy and sweet and all, but I couldn't help thinking: "Who's driving the camera???" especially during those, for lack of a better word, more intimate moments. (Does his assistant live with them? Eeeww.)
