Can anyone recommend a way to put it on a pole to make it a nice Boom mic?
Something that doesn't look too ghetto :)
Lol, that's the problem I am having...
I am sure you guys have some fantastic ideas.
Your time is greatly appreciated...

Budget?
If you have the money, get a real boompole with a shockmount on it. There should be lots of threads on this if you do a search.
If you have clients who will see your boom, get a professional one that looks good. It will be a good investment as it will help you get paid by your clients.
If you boom a lot, get the real thing because your boom op's arms will thank you for it.
The not-as-great DIY solution:
Get a light pole of some sort, like the stuff they use for painting (like on paint rollers).
Get a shockmount suspension for the microphone so vibrational noise doesn't get into your mic.
Figure out how to mount the shockmount onto your pole... it'll likely involve thread adapters.
Get a cable tie for the mic cable and use it to secure the cable at the top/end of the boompole.
I haven't tried this myself, but that would seem to be the way to do it.
2- Would you also need a windscreen for your mic?
