Hey everyone,
I was surfing the 2 Pops discussion group and came across a post from a member there about a new HD MiniDV camera from JVC.
Unfortunately, the page is all in Japanese. Here is the link:
http://www.jvc-victor.co.jp/show/ceatec/sankou_dhm.html
Here is what the poster had translated using Excite's translation portal...what I was wondering was if someone could translate it and see if this is correct and what are your thoughts on it?
JVC has a mega pixles HD mini DVcam showing in Ceatec Japan. Below details are straight from "www.Excite.co.jp" translation software
1. 1 / 3 type MEGA pixles cell progressive CCD corresponding to a digital Hi-Vision movie are carried for the first time as progressive CCD in the world.
2. It is the first in the world as a noncommercial video camera. Record reproduction of a high-definition and high definition 16:9 wide Hi-Vision image is realized. High-definition image record of 525i (DV), and 525p (MPEG 2) and 750p (MPEG 2) is possible on a MiniDV tape.
3. The highly efficient HD zoom lens of newly developed "optical hand deflection compensation system" loading which realizes the stable high-definition digital Hi-Vision image was adopted.
4. The rotation formula grip of the new way of thinking which raises the flexibility at the time of photography by leaps and bounds is adopted.
Thanks,
Ted
