Hi all,

Have not posted for a long time as i was too engrossed in work for a while. I finally got a short showreel done up for funding.

Wildlife of Singapore..... on Vimeo (http://vimeo.com/6232697)

I posted at "Show Your Work" but decided that since most of the wildlife shooters are here, I should also be posting it as well. Do not mean to double post.

Any comments on any areas for improvement is very much welcomed.

Cheers

Delightful images and clever editing. If the subjects don't move very much that's fine as long as you show them only briefly. But we do get a good look at them, just enough. Were your clouds the sole fast-mo subjects?

Thanks for sharing.

Nice images and editing, Yeo. :)

The maco subjects were great, as too were the clouds & moon.

I'd like to have seen a wider range of animals other than mainly macro to show a more diverse scope of Singapore wildlife...but the showreel kept my interest with some great camera work. Maybe a few sliding shots and macro-dolly clips (other than total fixed tripod work) would have lifted it even more, but it was still well worth watching as it is.

Thanks alot Ofer, Brendan,Tony and Caleb for the kind words. It was a very long 1.5 years to get all this footage but the experience in witnessing mother nature at work and joy of getting a single good shot is more than worth the sweat.

Brendan,

Yes, the clouds are the only fast mo subjects. All the rest are normal motion.

Tony,

Agree with you. I will be going for more birds soon. As for mammals, I would say small Singapore is a little lacking but there are a few definitely and will be something I want to work on. I wanted to get a slider but have not decided on one and my budget is leaning towards a LCD monitor since the H1's VF is really crappy....

Cheers
