View Full Version : books on special effects? Steve Witt February 21st, 2005, 08:37 PM anyone know any good books on special effects that include forced perspectives, blue/green screen use, etc. thanks, steve Rob Lohman February 23rd, 2005, 03:54 AM Are you talking about general talk or specific on how to do these effects? Usually the books on the latter subject are written for a specific program like After Effects or Combustion etc. The trick to blue and greenscreen is (even) lighting and seperating the foreground from the background. Do a search on DVi here with on words like blue and green and you should find some threads that discuss that in more depth. If you are looking for general information a magazine called Cinefex is a well known mag that discusses special effects movies and how they did those effects for big-budget movies. |
