Presently using Adobe Creative Suite, Aspect DV, and Cinema Craft Encoder Basic, 1080i footage and standard DV 4 x 3 footage.
Is there any workflow that will produce both 16 X 9 and 4 X 3 Mpeg files. I tried it once and received 16 x 9 letterbox on my wide screen tv and 4 x 3 with different position placements than were in the Premiere project.
Any help is appreciated.

OK you are going to need to spell out your problem more clearly for us to help.
You are saying you have projects that contain 'both' 16:9 1080i and 4:3 480i footage. Do you mean the two types mixed together in a project, or separate projects of each type?
Then, you say you want to produce "both" 16X9 and 4:3 footage from the "same" workflow. CCE can certain encode both, so yes you can... if that is what you are asking?
Care to expand a bit on your question?

I have both 16 x 9 1080i and 4 x 3 480i footage in the same project. After scaling both types of footage to "fit" the layout window and circumstance, zoom, keeping a jumping fish in frame, etc, I would like to be able to output the project in both 16 x 9 and 4 x 3. These footages would then be imported into Encore to author one dvd to handle both television types.
Thanks

Import 1080i with Aspect
Import 480i with Windows AVI DV codec as 4:3
Opened a new project in Premier in 16:9
Edit, scale, etc. to fit monitor window
Export 16:9 with CCE
Export 4:3 with CCE
Seems to work, burning a disc from Encore now.
Thanks
Jim
