2009-09-14-SANDISK EXTREME PRO COMPACTFLASH MEMORY CARD RAISES BAR FOR PROFESSIONAL GRADE PERFORMANCE, CAPACITY AND RELIABILITY (http://www.sandisk.com/about-sandisk/press-room/press-releases/2009-09-14-sandisk-extreme-pro-compactflash-memory-card-raises-bar-for-professional-grade-performance,-capacity-and-reliability.aspx)

Not available quite yet, but listings are visible on B&H with prices. Spendy, but it is nice to now have 32 and 64GB options that can record the highest nano/XDR bitrates.

16GB 60MB/s - $180
16GB 90MB/s - $260
32GB 60MB/s - $300
32GB 90MB/s - $430
64GB 90MB/s - $700

Hey Mike,
That's cheaper to buy one 64gb than four extreme IV 16gb.
Question:
Can the Nano in it's present state record uncompressed with just firmware update.
That would be the only reason I would go to an even faster card.

Dear Lance,

Sorry, but no, the nanoFlash does not currently record uncompressed.

We have been waiting a long time for 64 GB CompactFlash cards. It appears that they are now close.

We were surprised about the 90 Megabyte per second speed. We will need to test these, as the write speeds are very important to us. We are very confident that these cards will be fast enough to do uncompressed (using two cards simultaneously).

We are not promising uncompressed at this time, but we are seriously investigating it as an extra cost option. This new feature will require a very significant effort to develop.
