I had a very old DAT model TCD-D3 walkman. It was one of my crazy family boughts thinking would go standard, but it didnīt make it for consumers. Batteries died long ago and there is just the possibilty of getting energy to it by the 9V DC in.

I donīt have idea and this is my question hoping is the place to do it. Is there any way to take it back to life? I will have to clean everything and pray it still works, but iīm willing to do. Just a little mic/line in. Any Possible XLR adapter?

I hope it works. Thanks for the help anyway!

I have a Panasonic SV-255 DAT that uses proprietary batteries that haven't been sold in years.

I use either the AC supply or a rechargeable lead acid battery from EcoCharge that plugs onto the power input.

look at www.batteryspace.com they have some very reasonable rechargeable battery packs that will give you 9v for little bucks

Thanks Tai and Rob!

I just sent some mails to these places to see if they can help me!

I find very good way of saving money to use old equipment and itīs a pity Big companies do this to sell new products. Itīs outrageous how can somebody spent so much money for something and then, two years later donīt be able to find pieces.

And DAT is DAT.

Thanks very much again for the info and help. I will tell you if it works!
