If I add the Bogen 522 PanBar LANC handle to my 501 Head, can I still use the existing pan handle? Or does the 522 replace it?

View Full Version : Bogen 522 Lanc Handle and the 501 Head Matt Rickman February 11th, 2005, 03:13 PM If I add the Bogen 522 PanBar LANC handle to my 501 Head, can I still use the existing pan handle? The stock handle can be attached to the opposing side for a duel handle set up, but you have to buy another stock pan handle to get another clamp. You would think the 522 would come with its own clamp. John Matt Rickman February 11th, 2005, 03:50 PM thanks John.. That is what i kind of suspected. So as far as you know, there is no way to buy just the clamp. thanks matt rickman John DeLuca February 11th, 2005, 04:26 PM It may be possible to order it from bogen as a "replacement part". Time is a big issue with me when ordering parts for production, so I didnt look deep into it. Hope this helps. John Matt Rickman February 11th, 2005, 05:01 PM yeah.. and since a new pan-handle with clamp is only $30. the cost would probably be about the same..... I actually think I have talked myself into the Bogen 521 clamp on unit instead.... matt rickman |
