Just got a new FS-5 - and will only intermittently power up. Press the power button and (most of the time) the LCD backlight comes on, but no splash screen ever comes up. (Press the power button and it does shut of the backlight after a few seconds.)

Does power up sometimes and then will power on and off after that. Leave for a while and will not power up again. Sounds like a bad switch to me - any one had a similar experience?

Any other problems found with the FS-5 - I now feel uneasy abut it........

Just an update - Fs-5 now seems to have "given up the ghost...." I will not produce a splash screen at all any more. Will contact Videoguys on Monday for an RMA......

Has any one else has problems with the FS-5 not booting up or dying.......
