Okay, no doubt a stupid question for those who know a little bit more than me....
I have a Canon GL2 and I edit my footage on a PC in Vegas Video.
I always shoot in Frame mode.
This means that any frame I see in Vegas is not interlaced, but a full frame, which means I can frame-grab anything
Whereas when I edit footage from my friend's PD150 shot in 60i most of the frames are fields, that is they have interlace relics. Some of them look like full frames, maybe because there's no subject movement.
But how does one normally de-interlace their 60i footage so that they can frame-grab anything and it's a full frame?
Thanks for any info, general or specific, on this topic.
