The price is for the camera body only. Betsy Moore January 25th, 2005, 12:41 PM It's frightening that there are people like that out there. Chris Hurd January 25th, 2005, 02:23 PM Please consider making your purchase from one of our site sponsors. Kurth Bousman January 26th, 2005, 10:39 AM sorry.. but I'm just curious how they would market the fx-1's body only? Dead giveaway ? The things we encounter when looking for a good deal ! Living in Mexico and buying always in the states , B&H is the only logical solution for me and usually their prices are worth the small increase for the peace of mind, in case . Kurth Chris Hurd January 26th, 2005, 12:05 PM "Body only" in this case means that the unscrupulous seller (can't really call them dealers as they are not authorized) is offering the camera only; the rest of the kit contents such as the charger, battery, AC cable, etc. are sold separately at outrageous prices, and as a condition of the camera purchase you have to buy these "extra" items from them as well, or else it's suddenly unavailable. This is a common scam. |
