I recently purchased the XL2 and would like to do wome weddings to pay some of it off. Iv inherited the Azden WDR-PRO reciever and the WM-PRO transmiter/lav. Will this system do or is it a P.O.S? I dont intend to do weddings for profesioanly so Im not looking to invest alot of money.
Thanks!

I have the same wireless lapel mics, and even though I don't use them often, I have never had any problems. The only glitch, is when trying to use more than one set of mics, as there are only 2 frequencies.
But getting them for free is the best way to find out if they'll work for you.

Keith,
Do you use one lav mic on the groom or two: one on the groom and one on the priest?
If two, which reciever do you use?
thanks

Since they're free, they're worth exactly what you paid for them. Even AT's very cheap PW88 system is much better, has no companding, and sounds awesome. But free is good. Just don't trust any important sound to them.

I have the 100LT and it has worked very nice for the one wedding and the industrials I have done. I use it with my PDX10 and it has done very well.

Mark- The answer is... neither. I don't do weddings ;) I have done a few events with them though.
