What steadi-cam systems are you guys using...?
For the new Sony HDR-FX1
Looks like the Glidecam v8 is the cheapest/best overall way to go ..?
What do you think..?

The Tiffen Flyer is the best system out there for this size camera, but not the cheapest.

I demoed the Flyer at Cinegear last year and didn't want to take it off, I was having so much fun with it. A DV stabilizer with a gimbal and arm that perform as well as a full-size rig is sort of the perfect match: you don't feel like you are bearing any weight to speak of, but it flies without compromise. The dual axis arm adjustment angle makes it more comfortable than other systems also.
I also borrowed a demo Flyer for a short film I was shooting with the Mini35 but that setup turned out to be just overweight for the system so I didn't get to use it in a practical shooting environment.
