Hello everyone.
I have a Minolta DiMage 5 that for some reason decided to no longer boot. When I turn it on, it beeps like it's booting but then the shutter releases and it beeps again, shutter releases and beeps again and it just keeps doing that. When I look in the EVF, I see a brief error message saying Card Error. I've tried numerous cards, all of which have worked with the camera in the past, tried booting with no card, tried changing batteries, all to no avail.
I recently updated the camera's firmware and it was no problem for a while. I don't know if the symptoms I listed are related to the firmware update but I tend to think not.
I've cotacted Konica/Minolta through their web site but have not heard back from them and thought I might get quicker info here.
Anyone else experienced anything like this?
Thanks, Dave
