At this link http://www.marcomesa.altervista.org/tesi/tesi.htm courious people can find some frame shot with mx500, in my opninion they can be useful to understand color saturation of this cam, and its general behavior in some situations...

I hope this can help someone...

All the frame was shot without any CC in post, and thay are frame from my little "film" that I'm shooting for final exam in my university!

no, simply shot in normal mode and deinterlaced with vegas...

when someone say to us "good luck" in Italy we reply "Crepi il lupo" !!!!

Would replying "grazie" negate any good luck?

eh eh, at the university ther's a sort o "ritual" when we would to say "good luck for your exam!"...I think this ritual its very old, you are right "grazie" means thanks, but its normal...at the university 8we are very strange...) we say "in bocca al lupo" that means "good luck", so we have to answer "crepi!", that means thanks...I think for non-italian its sound strange eh eh...

I think that Magic Bullet plugin for AfterEffects do a great job changing 60i to 24p.

I just viewed some picutures on your website. The picture lack of detail information. I guess the problem relates to deinterlace in vegas.

yes the deinterlace loss some details, but I think the final project will remain in PAL DV 50i, but if the picture wasn't deinterlaced you could see the interlacing zig zag. I did the gallery to help peolple to understand color and light behavior of mx500...

That is great.

I try to do same thing for gs400, though I don't have enough time.

In my Italian class, and from others, I learned In boca al lupo, which could be rendered semi-literally as "Into the mouth of the wolf," meaning good luck. It kind of made sense to me in a strange way.

Then, a little later, I learned the correct response, Crepi!, or as Marco said, Crepi il lupo, or "Let the wolf die!"--which is, to me, a completely untranslatable idiom.

Boy, language is weird.
