i am travelling soon to nepal and burma/myanmar. i want to bring my PD-150 but am very concerned about power conversion to charge batteries. anyone have experience in that part of the world?
questions:
--can i simply use a plug adapter, the kind that converts US flat-tipped prongs to the local round-tipped prongs? or do i need a more elaborate tranformer-type set-up?
--i have a car cigarette lighter adapter. should that be universal in nature, or will there be a problem hooking it up to a lighter in an burmese/nepalese vehicle?
--can i purchase a charger say, in bangkok at an electronics store that would be compatible with my batteries,
or can i buy a charger and batteries over there which would be compatible with my camera??
--any experience with solar chargers?
any and all assiatance appreciated!
