I am also getting the Pearstone Universal Shockmount Pearstone | DUSM-1 Universal Shockmount for Camera | DUSM-1 (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=cart_accessories&A=details&Q=&sku=554681&is=REG) .

This shockmount doesn't look like it would work with a wind shield. What other options do I have? FYI, I will be shooting mostly events where the camera is on tripod.

They make a variety of windscreens, one might be close to a fit for you. I used one of theirs on an ME66 and, despite its reasonably low price, was very satisfied with it.../ Battle Vaughan

I also have the rode pistol grip and the W/S-6 is fine with that too.
