OK We just got 2 xl2's and a mini 35 today and was wondering how we get the firewire software to change the setup and menus of the xl2.... didn't Canon come out with this yet or did I miss something... thanks

That doesn't exist. They have said three things basically:

1. they have some capture software (you can download that)

2. they have an SDK (software development kit) that allows OTHER people/companies to make software (I know of no-one that has seen this yet)

3. they where talking about software that could read and write presets to the camera, however this was in conjunction with my point 2 above. So this software doesn't exist yet (as far as I know)
